Following another day in court, former President Trump visited a bodega in Upper Manhattan to highlight the crime problem in New York City and across the country.
He met with bodega clerk Jose Alba, who stabbed an attacker to death in self-defense two years ago. Alba was initially charged with murder, but those charges were later dropped amid a public outcry over the case.
"We have to straighten out New York and that includes crime," Trump told reporters outside the bodega as supporters chanted "four more years."
Trump traveled to the bodega following the second day of jury selection in his hush money trial. Seven jurors were seated on Tuesday.
